Join Intrepid's collections department team for a fascinating virtual field trip to their collections storage, where you'll learn about the selection, storage, and preservation of objects on board. The team will highlight a specific collection and its historical and cultural significance. Afterward, museum educators will lead your students through a hands-on art project inspired by that collection. Get ready for an immersive and educational experience!

  • This session is part of a series but can also be attended on its own.
  • Between sessions two and three, students will be introduced to Intrepid aircraft restoration, and prompted to discuss why museums like Intrepid and roles like those they have learned about are important.
