About this event
Did you know there are more than 3,000 species of snakes on the planet? They’re found everywhere except in Antarctica, Iceland, Ireland, Greenland, and New Zealand. About 600 species are venomous, and only about 200—seven percent—can kill or significantly wound a human. Learn how to handle a situation when you spot a snake in your yard, garden, kitchen, or on your walkway from the man himself, Mr. Snake Shyam, a snake enthusiast, wildlife conservationist, and lecturer from Mysore, India, who will share his 40+ years of experience retrieving snakes that encroached onto human properties.
