About the Speakers

Lydia Winters is Mojang Studios' Chief Storyteller. She speaks about the impact of Minecraft around the world and hosts Minecraft Live. More than 11 years ago, she joined the team as the seventh employee, the first woman, and the first ex-pat—she's still excited every day to work with the game.

At Mojang Studios, Cory Scheviak works as a gameplay developer, designing and coding features for Minecraft, a game he’s played since 2010. He’s passionate about sustainability and the environment and assists with related initiatives with the studio’s Social Impact team. Cory moved from the US to Sweden in 2018 to work at Mojang Studios and has never looked back.
