About this event

Join Intrepid’s Education team for an exciting virtual tour of the museum, with a special focus on space and spacecraft. Students will have the opportunity to explore the impressive collection of spacecraft at the museum and gain insights into the advantages and disadvantages of displaying both models and original spacecraft on the floor. Following the tour, museum educators will lead students in a captivating space-themed art project. Prepare for an engaging and creative journey into the wonders of space!

  • This session is part of a series but can also be attended on its own.
  • Between sessions one and two, students will be introduced to Intrepid’s collections storage and have the opportunity to respond to questions about objects that are important to them.
  • Register your class for next week’s session to learn how objects are preserved in an aircraft.
